Yesterday was the first meeting of the new Uniontown group of PennWriters.

Among those in attendance were PennWriters Area 3 Representative Annette Dashofy, group organizer Sheryl Nantus, Dr. Fred Lapisardi, Jason Jack Miller, Heidi Ruby Miller, and others.

Among the topics discussed were plagiarism, a firearms course for writers provided by the McDonald Sportsman's Club on April 6, how we want to shape this group, the benefits of writing classes, and future goals.

If you're in the area and are interested in attending, the next meeting will be Sunday, February 24, at 2:00 PM in the Uniontown Panera Bread.
